Built in a fort-like style, the stone-build mansions of Molista reveal the important historic character of the village, as well as the elaborated craftsmanship of its skilled technicians. Famous craftsmen and traders during the 19th century brought wealth and prosperity in the village, that flourished until the radical political and socio-economical changes of the 20th century. Stone cobbled paths, churches, chapels, founts and watermills are in harmony with the natural environment and create an attractive summer mountainous destination. During the summer period, when the village is crowded, the community organises festivities and celebrations inspired by old traditional customs.
